WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bob Corker, R-Tenn., today made the following statement thanking Mike Landguth for his many years of service to the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport. Landguth joined the Chattanooga airport in 1999 as vice president of operations before being promoted to his current position as president and CEO in 2004. Landguth has been named director of the Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

“Mike Landguth has been instrumental in taking the Chattanooga airport to a whole new level in terms of carriers, non-stop flights and reliability. I’m proud to have worked with him on these shared goals during my time as mayor, thank him for his contributions to the Chattanooga community and wish him all the best in his new role in Raleigh-Durham,” said Corker. “I look forward to the community identifying another great leader to build on Mike’s efforts.”
