WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bob Corker, R-Tenn., made the following statement today after voting for the Murkowski resolution, S.J. Res. 26, to reverse the EPA’s ‘endangerment finding’ for greenhouse gases. The resolution failed in a vote of 53-47.
“I cosponsored and voted for the Murkowski resolution to reverse the EPA’s ‘endangerment finding’ for greenhouse gases, because I don’t believe it’s appropriate for the EPA to mandate large-scale carbon emissions reductions through administrative regulations. If there is any action taken in this regard, it should be done through Congress.”
